Hello Portal Masters! No your eyes are not deceiving you, I'm back for the time being and I have an exciting announcement to make. First of all, I want to say that I apologize for the long hiatus, but I've had more important events and more personal problems stirring up in real life as of lately. For starters, I've been busting my ass off trying to keep my grades up to keep my enrollment in the Phi Theta Kappa leadership team, I'm still trying to find a real part-time job (I don't count helping my friends and neighbors as a real job, but they did pay good), and I have a bunch of family drama going on that I really don't wanna talk about. I also plan to finish Skylanders: Heroes before the end of the year (for real this time), and I also have a new project in the works with an acquaintance of mine on DeviantArt. Now let's get onto the topic of today's post.
Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you *drum roll* Skylanders: Combatants, the long-awaited sequel to Skylanders: Fan Wiki. Taking place one year after the events of Fan Wiki, Couy and his army of viruses have been defeated and peace has once again been restored to the Skylands. However, a new threat has emerged in the form of Nurp, who is quickly proving himself to be a greater evil than Couy and is on the path to claiming Skylands for himself. With Skylands once again in danger, Eon has called upon a new team of Skylanders called the Combatants to stop Nurp before it is too late. Spyro is also assisting Eon by picking out a few members of the User Squad up promoting them to the Combatant Training Program. Snap Shot, on the other hand, is selecting a few notorious villains from Cloudcracker Prison to recruit for the Combatants as well. Mastering the powers of Brawler, Wizard, Smasher, Knight, Archer, Quickshot, Dualist, Bazooker, Ninja, and Sentinel, you must use these Combatants in the ultimate battle against Nurp and save Skylands.
That is the premise of the game. Before you guys say that this is a rip-off of Imaginators, just keep in mind that this was pretty much one of my ideas for the game before Imaginators was even announced. You know what they say, great minds think alike. Each element will have four Combatants: 1 new Skylander, 1 reposed User Skylander, 1 new User Skylander, and 1 Villain. More info will be given later on, for now, thank you all for reading this and have a god day.
